In a swift operation during a routine patrol, the Lagos State Police Command arrested three suspected armed robbers in the Sangotedo area along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The suspects — Emmanuel Cletus (32), Adegor Joshua (27), and Olayiwola Yusuf — were intercepted around 4:00 a.m. Officers recovered a semi-automatic pistol and five live rounds of ammunition from the trio.

Confirming the arrest on his official X handle, Police spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin stated:

“Officers of the Lagos State Police Command on morning patrol intercepted Emmanuel Cletus, aged 32, and Adegor Joshua, aged 27, and Olayiwola Yusufat about 4 a.m. at Sangotedo along the Lekki-Ajah Expressway.

Recovered from them was a semiautomatic pistol and five rounds of live ammunition. Investigation is ongoing.”
