Ayomikun Alabi, daughter of renowned Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi, recently married her partner, Oluwole, in a private ceremony held on March 12, 2025. The event was intimate, attended only by close family and friends. 

Despite efforts to maintain privacy, videos from the ceremony surfaced online. One clip shows Ayomikun kneeling before her mother, Tope Alabi, who offers a heartfelt prayer for the couple’s union, surrounded by bridesmaids. Another video captures Tope Alabi praying for the bridesmaids, expressing hopes that their relationships will also lead to marriage. 

The release of these videos sparked mixed reactions on social media. While many extended congratulations to the newlyweds, others criticized the breach of their privacy. Some speculated that the wedding’s secrecy was due to controversies surrounding Ayomikun’s biological father. 

Ayomikun, born on May 7, 1998, is the first daughter of Tope and Soji Alabi. She studied music at Bowen University, Iwo, graduating with second-class upper honors. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Ayomikun has ventured into music and is also the CEO of a hair brand called ‘Lilas Hair.’ 

The couple’s decision to hold a private ceremony underscores their desire for an intimate celebration, focusing on their commitment to each other amidst close family and friends.
